Women and Girls are faced with many issues, Soroptimists focus their efforts on these and develop projects that meet the specific needs of their communities.  Working with their communities and the community leaders, Soroptimists gain a better understanding of what is required to deliver successful projects.

On a global level Soroptimists Special Consultative status provides SISEAP with access to not only ECOSOC, but also to its many subsidiary bodies, Soroptimists engage with UN entities to implement change. 

Soroptimists from the 13 countries in South East Asia Pacific region advocate and deliver projects at grass roots level, which benefited women and girls across Healthcare, Education, Elimination of Violence, Environmental issues and Literacy.
