This past month I had the great pleasure to Charter a new Club in Mongolia. The fourth Club in the Country.
SI Amgalan in Erdenet Mongolia was officially chartered on Saturday 7th October, 2017. While the weather was a little unsupportive of the event, it was the women who made the event – with their warmth, friendship and support both to SISWP and also to their local communities (although the band they had booked to perform thought they were playing for a Wedding party, they soon realized that here was a group of women who really knew how to party!
If you are looking for some worthwhile joint Club projects for 2018 I would ask that you consider contacting our Clubs in Mongolia.
They have some wonderful projects that they work on which truly work to enhance the lives of women and girls in their Community but they desperately need more funds and help to get the projects up and running.
It was devastating to walk through a beautifully appointed hospital wing that was set up to enable children with chronic illnesses – such as cancer – sitting idle as there was no money to staff the wing that is so desperately needed.
