About Melba Inc
Projects
Our current local and international project partners include:
- The Les Twentyman Foundation SEEE Fund - Soroptimists Educate Empower Enable - set up to assist disadvantaged girls with their educational needs. The Fund provides for items like scientific calculators, art materials, MYKI passes, internet fees, textbooks, uniforms and equipment, tutoring etc
- WISA - a small organisation supporting Afghan women both here in Australia & on the ground in Afghanistan
- Afghan Womens Organisation Victoria (AWOV) - supporting Afghan women who have recently relocated to Australia. Providing in-kind donations of furniture and household goods, toiletries and funding for ‘Learn to Drive’ program
- Cycles for Cycles, Sampov Loun, Cambodia - set up to provide bicycles for malaria workers and an ongoing maintenance program in Sampov Loun, Cambodia. This project is largely completed, however, SI Melba in conjunction with SI Damansara, SI Phnom Penh & SI Singapore will together monitor the project
