About Gold Coast Inc
Soroptimist International Gold Coast, charted in 1987, is a well-respected organisation deeply rooted in the Gold Coast community.
Soroptimist International Gold Coast is part of a global volunteer movement working to transform the lives of women and girls. Our club is dedicated to promoting the ideals of Soroptimism on the Gold Coast through a diverse array of projects and initiatives. We are a dynamic group of women from various backgrounds, united by a common goal: to empower women and girls to achieve their full potential.
Our core mission is to educate, empower, and enable women and children, both locally and internationally. We achieve this through a combination of advocacy, awareness-raising, and hands-on service projects. Our activities range from providing educational scholarships and vocational training to supporting victims of domestic violence and advocating for women's rights.
Soroptimist International Gold Coast engages in a variety of community service projects, including environmental conservation efforts, health and well-being initiatives, and programs designed to improve the social and economic conditions of women and girls. We also host events such as fundraising trivia nights, community clean-up days, and awareness campaigns to support our cause.
By joining our club, members have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women, develop leadership skills, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
