Projects
Educate, Empower, Enable
Every year, members of S I Ballarat offer a bursary to three secondary students, up to the value of $500 each. We offer a $1000 scholarship to a first year STEM student at Federation University in memory of deceased member Ilona Takacs. We sponsor a Year 10 student to attend Magic Moments: a five day long youth leadership and business summit.
WRISC
On a regular basis we supply basic toilitries for women and children, in a hand made toilet bag which is distributed through the emergency ward at a local hospital and Anglicare, Catholic Care and Uniting Care.
Ballarat Soup Bus - we donate foods and milk.
Royal South Street Competion - S I Ballarat is an annual sponsor by providing prize money for one of the sections of this competition.
Ballarat Shower Bus - we donate toileteries and towels
