Our best recruiters are our Soroptimist Club members.
The Member-Get-A-Member (MGAM) campaign recognises the membership development contribution made by individuals.
The MGAM Campaign
- Campaign duration: 1 March - 1 October 2023. No nominations will be accepted after Midnight AEST 25 September 2023.
- Those who successfully recruited in January and February may enter in the March draw.
- A nomination can be made anytime (not just in the month the new Soroptimist was inducted)
- Who is eligible? SISEAP Soroptimists who bring in a new member are asked to fill in a nomination form once the new member is financial and on the SISEAP database.
- There will be one nomination per recruited Soroptimist
- A winner is randomly selected from the applicants for the month
- An overall winner is chosen to celebrate “October is Membership Month”

- The nomination form is automatically collated by the SISEAP Membership Convenor.
- Minimum Numbers per draw: If there are at least 10 nominations made in a month, one nomination will be randomly drawn. If there are fewer than 10 nominations for that month, there will not be a draw, and those who have nominated will go in the draw for the next month.
- When each monthly draw is made: The draw will be made on the 25th of each month, starting with 25 March 2023, and will be announced in the following month’s Bulletin. The first winner therefore will be announced 1 April, followed by 1 May, 1 June, 1 July, 1 August, 1 Sept, and the final will be 1 October; ie up to 7 monthly winners. The prize will be 50% fees of the 2024 fees set by the Federation up to a maximum of $AUD50.
- No nominations will be accepted after midnight AEST 25 September 2023.
- Supreme Recruiter Award: On 1 October the overall winner is the Soroptimist who brings in the largest number of new members for the 1 March - 25 September campaign period. The prize will be the waiver of the Soroptimist’s 2024 membership fees set by the Federation or shared in the case of a tie.
