As a Founder, President, Treasurer, VP, Governing Board Member, Councillor, Chair and Non-Executive Director for professional bodies, social entrepreneurial ventures, International Charities, and Government Owned Enterprise, Donnell is continuously enhancing governance techniques to adapt to changing legislation and international obligations.  Originally on audit committees for economic development and environmental stewardship, she quickly became a policy reformer and humanitarian evaluator to ensure reputation index methods.  Donnell is a prolific writer, interrogating complex issues to decide how to mitigate risks.

In Australia, Donnell has only been a formal member since 2016. She hosted forums at her work in 1989-1991, 1999. Overseas, when women caucus, she was actively supported by Soroptimsts of Germany and Austria in UNODC; from Netherlands, Brazil and Bangladesh with UN Habitat; and many with Commonwealth Peoples Forum, Business Forum and Women's Forum in CHOGMs from 2001 to 2018. Locally, she was regional programme voice for South Queensland with 8 clubs, and is keenly involved with Moreton North and their compassionate and ambitious members.
