President Christine Johnstone announces the Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific Creative Arts competition.  This Federation wide competition is open to students from age 6 to 18.

The Creative Arts competition will enable students through visual arts to amplify their voice for change.  

This year the competition has been expanded to include Poetry and Photography, the competition will amplify students voices, they will be able to visually tell their concerns, ideas and throughs through visual art. The art competition will creatively engage and promote environmental change through the students art work.


Participation in the art competition will be via Clubs. Clubs are encouraged to hold a "Creative Arts" competition in their community. Clubs will promote and engage with schools and students. Clubs will need to hold a competition, judge submitted entries and announce category winners. The winning entries will be forwarded to HQ for Federation wide judging. The Federation will promote the art works and announce the winners of each category on World Environment Day 5th of June. Clubs will need to provide a certificate/ award at their Club level.

Participation in the Creative Arts competition will showcase a students artistic skills, whilst allowing the students to engage and promote environment issues and their ideas on what they see as the cause, effect and solution.
